Main characteristics
onQos® Therapy has three primary components:
- A mobile app for the patient that collects symptoms, episodes, therapeutic adherence, and other aspects relevant to the patient’s health and quality of life.
- A monitoring system that analyzes the patients’ progress and provides useful and accurate information about their status to the oncology service.
- A platform for the oncology units, aimed at facilitating patient monitoring.
At set times, the patients use the mobile app to report data regarding the disease and other aspects like nutrition, physical activity, quality of life, etc. An algorithm that was designed by professional oncologists analyzes the information in the monitoring system, classifying each patient based on the reported data. In the resulting dashboard, the healthcare professionals easily identify the patients who require specific actions, or what unnecessary visits can be omitted. The platform also enables the provider to carry out a higher quality office visit because the app has provided the oncologist with the patient-reported data before the visit.
